Repairs to the old stone built pier face.

Hamar Pier Repairs - North Mavine

The pier face had collapsed due to erosion and had fallen into the sea. The first task was to recover the materials from the sea and bring it ashore. We then had to select through the recovered material and rebuild the pier face. Concrete was used to fill in behind the pier face giving it more strength. The final phase was to cap the surface of the pier with hardcore to allow the area to be used again.
